So do I recommend it? At a 60$ price point, the game is a bit weak, so whether or not you’ll appreciate that purchase point is likely entirely dependent on your appreciation for the the mecha genre. In sticking with that succinct description, on the topic of do I recommend the game, the issue isn’t quite clear cut, primarily due to price-point and obscuring the issue more, the game is weighted down terrifically by the console it launched on. I tried to cheese it like I did with the main one by jumping on a car, but then it just left them all behind.It’s Armored Core lite. The issue with Snatcher is that the AI can't deal enough damage to it before it's out of the area. I stopped bothering fighting those things solo for the most part since I don't personally enjoy how they turn everything into an endurance match that'll eat minutes of your time every fight. The larger arena aside, Eclipse Omega also has the quirk of having a more varied pool of attacks, so the mirages ironically don't just constantly spam you with barriers, gravity beams and the death laser. Nightmare, Gunfort and Dreadnought Omega fall into the category of being technically possible solo, but being a royal pain to fight since their damage just punishes you a lot harder for any small mistake and your AI partners are barely any use. But I do appreciate I'm not the only one who despises fighting Bolt solo. Totally forgot about it, probably because the battle was mainly me trying to keep my teammates alive and then dying. I did attempt Zeruchroar and got my ass handed to me. Reverse this weakness for its mirages when they spawn, if you wish to destroy them.

That thing was added via anniversary update if I'm not mistaken, and I don't remember if it was restricted or not until you either played the mission from someone else's lobby or if it's available straight away, but that thing's actually a harder version of the game's original hardest boss (at least, in my opinion).Įdit: Oh, and a free tip if you're trying to continue to hunt Eclipse RT:Omega regardless - the main one is weak to bullet damage, and its shield is weak to laser damage. The online multiplayer's actually slightly bugged in that the matchmaking doesn't work with if you don't have the same download region as other players (which is an issue not present on the Nintendo Switch), so you'll definitely have trouble finding people to play with if you don't have a group of people you can talk with.
(You might also need a high speed build and/or heavy abuse of Wing Femto Shift to evade its attacks.)Įndgame grind is mostly farming for armor, weapons and attachments in the game's various modes, and for some, taking them into PvP. THAT is the actual hardest boss in the game (added in at the same time as Exploration missions were, I think?), and Eclipse RT:Omega I'd say is more like a bonus, though for certain, do not underestimate just how much damage the latter can do to you if you get careless.
